Auch dieses Jahr kümmern wir uns wieder um die Kozerte von
James Hersey in Europa.
Dank der freundlichen Unterstützung von Audio Service Ullrich und CH Sound nun auch mit der vollen Produktion, was die Tontechnik angeht.
James Hersey kann man wohl als das nächste musikalische Genie aus Ãûsterreich bezeichnen: Er ist 24,
schreibt, produziert, singt seine Songs selbst, spielt die Instrumente eigenhändig
ein und dreht auch seine Musikvideos in Eigenregie.
Insgesamt vier erfolgreiche Singles hat er mittlerweile veröffentlicht und dadurch die Aufmerksamkeit der Alternative- und Mainstream-Szene auf sich gezogen.
Unerschrocken bricht er die
Grenzen der Genres und schafft somit Neues und Unvergessliches â€ô immer auf der Suche nach originellen musikalischen Einflüssen.
Seine Arbeits-Devise lautet dabei: Qualität für den kleinen Preis. Um zu verhindern, dass seine Musik in schlechter Qualität auf fremden Seiten an seine Fans gelangt,
bietet er seine Musik lieber umsonst als
Mixtape mit richtigem Cover auf seiner Homepage an.
Auf diesem Weg wurde auch sein Mixtape „Twelve“ (2012) veröffentlicht. Mittlerweile ist das rastlose Multitalent Teil von „Lichtdicht Records“ und hat sein erstes Album "Clarity" produziert.
Auf Festivals wie dem Szene Open Air, dem Frequency, oder dem Zelt Musik Festival in Freiburg durften Fans schon die ersten Singleauskopplungen "Juliet" und "Don't Say Maybe" hören.
Auch als Support von Künstlern wie Will.i.Am, Milky Chance, Train, Sebastian Lind und seinem Schulkollegen Left Boy konnte er bereits von seinen Live-Qualitäten überzeugen.
Im März 2015 wird James Hersey auf Tour durch Deutschland gehen und seine musikalische Vielseitigkeit unter Beweis stellen.

EXCHAMPION
THE REÂBIRTH OF ALLEINUNTERHALTER JimMarshall’s  aka “TheLordofLoud” greatest delight was to play drums to jazz records in his office. Exchampion uses an extensive park of effect pedals to create the environment for his drumming. Apart from his touring and recording with quite different bands like Racquets, Beatbaumand the well known ambient/Neoclassic act Bersarin Quartett, Exchampion always had the habit to record drums and weird synthesizer lines on a taperecorder, primarly just to keep some of his ideas in mind. Eventually, in autumn 2011 he started taking samples from the tape recordings to arrange the first five tracks he released in a DIY mode on the Exchampion Aurora tape. After excessive live appearances at electro/drum’n’bassparties, Exchampion started working on new tracks in which he weaved in his live experiences. The twelve tracks resulting from this have first been released as the Attaboy Ben Trilogy on Exchampions web label “Age of DelayÂCollective”. In march 2013, Exchampion released the Attaboy Ben Trilogy on a limited tape edition which was completely sold out after a few shows.

Named after a track by legendary bluesman Howlin’ Wolf, Killaflaw inhabit the electronic/rock interzone. They’re from Liverpool, and consist of Benn Helm (vocals, guitar) and Andy Paton (electronics, trumpet).
Killaflaw have been likened to a number of other acts – “like Led Zep meet the Chemical Brothers”, “the missing link between Soundgarden and The Prodigy” – but really they have a sound that is uniquely their own.
The electro-blues band’s first track, ‘Revolution’, won Xfm’s Demo Of The Year award, and then a low-key release of the ‘Set Me On Fire’ single organically spread around the world and topped the DMC charts in the US in 2010. It was played on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music, NME Radio, Xfm London and many other independent stations, and the notorious Utah Saints produced a stunning dubsteppy remix of this track. There are now more than 100 home-made YouTube videos that use ‘Set Me On Fire’ as a soundbed – strong indication of its grass roots popularity.
Killaflaw have played played at Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Beat Herder, Camden’s Club NME Night at Koko and Club Remix at Proud in London (both twice), Brixton Jamm, Cargo, Notting Hill Arts Club and several of the UK’s O2 Academys and Barflys, as well as several of the main venues in Liverpool. The have also performed showcases on MTV, BBC and Filter Magazine shows.
In the summer of 2010 they were joined by former Pendulum and Apollo 440 drummer Paul Kodish for several festival shows, and their latest single ‘Happy Daze’ was released on Westway Records in April 2011.
Gigging and recording all the time, Killaflaw produce everything from affecting electronic bangers (‘Broken Idol’, ‘Holy Funk’) to bluesy singalongs (‘Message’) to journeying rocky electronic MTV-friendly anthems (‘Set Me On Fire’, ‘Higher Ground’) to sync-friendly powerhouses (‘Revolution’). As the UK’s DJ magazine said: “Killaflaw have the passion, the soul, the raw power and the tunes. They’re gonna be massive.”
